There are subtle differences in each structure based on the same underlying principles to which the notes below refer. These facilities are highly competitive and offer differentiated financial terms depending on project risk and client needs. Generous grace periods for both principal and interest can be accommodated for long-term projects.
Facilities are available to newly formed, mature, and even distressed companies, that have the capacity to prepare a viable project and secure the Funder’s position by issuing a financial guarantee (Stand by Letter of Credit SBLC/SLOC or blocked cash in a pledged account facility).
It is particularly attractive to provide an alternative to traditional funding or for start-ups as a superior alternative to raising capital from angel investors.
